             Drug and pharmaceutical Manufacturers have so bar been producing drugs from the very basic stage due to the economics of bulk drugs manufacturing. Now they have the option available to them in terms of the better supply of pharmaceutical intermediates. This allows them to produce drugs and / or to shift drugs at a short notice.
             An organic compound that is formed in a stage between the parent substance and the final pharmaceutical compound or the active pharmaceutical ingredients. It is a "stepping stone" in the synthesis of the final product.
